Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ is home to The Globe Theater – a 410-seat venue hosting theatre performances and community activities. The idea of the reconstruction of a Shakesperean Theater in Odessa originated in 1948 in Mrs. Marjorie Morris’ senior English class at Odessa High School as a project of the OHS Shakespeare Club. In the 1960s, the vision of then Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ professor Marjorie Morris came to fruition in the construction of the Globe Theater at Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ. For 50 years, the Globe Theater has hosted theatre and community events. With the re-establishment of the OC Theatre Performance Program, it also functions as one of the best classrooms on campus.
